Goli Sheikholeslami

Goli Sheikholeslami is the Chief Executive Officer of POLITICO, appointed in February 2022 by parent company Axel Springer. She leads an ambitious growth strategy to enhance POLITICO’s position as a global leader in political, policy, and power news. Previously, she was President and CEO of New York Public Radio and held senior leadership roles at The Washington Post, Chicago Public Media, Condé Nast, and Time Warner. Sheikholeslami also served on NPR’s board and currently sits on the board of Patreon,  the membership platform for artists and creators.

Sheikholeslami grew up in suburban Washington, D.C., and received her undergraduate degree in international economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She also earned an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
