
Braxton Woodham
Chief Technology Officer and Head of Labs, Project Liberty
Braxton Woodham is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience in developing scaled software products and platforms. He is currently Chief Technology Officer and Head of Labs at Project Liberty, overseeing the development of tooling and infrastructure that equips builders to launch the next era of decentralized social networking. Previously Braxton served as the Chief Technology and Product Officer at Fandango, where he oversaw the product development and technology operations for a portfolio of companies including Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, and Ingresso. Earlier he was the co-founder, President, and CTO of Sun Basket, a personalized meal platform, and co-founder and Executive Chairman at kuma.capital, a software platform for digital asset trading. Braxton has also co-founded Tap11, a real-time media analytics platform, and served as the CTO of InfoSpace’s mobile division. He was additionally the Executive Director of Technology at Sony Music Digital Media Ventures, where he focused on new internet initiatives including Keyhole, which eventually became Google Earth. Braxton began his career as Lead Propulsion Engineer for two Atlas missions and served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. He holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering with honors from Vanderbilt University.
